The first, the Bob Duckett Memorial Golf Outing, will be held Monday, July 21st at Merrill Hills Country Club in Waukesha. Bob Duckett, a board member emeritus of the Foundation, passed away in December of 2007. Bob was an avid golfer, and one of the most energetic supporters of the WEF. Please join us at one of the oldest and most picturesque golf courses in the state as we celebrate his memory and contributions to the Foundation.

*********** Las Vegas Casino Night ***********Our second fundraising event in 2008 will be a Casino Night featuring a wide variety of Las Vegas style games and wonderful food. Join us for a social evening and enjoy a European buffet with multiple food stations, classic games like blackjack and roulette, and a chance to win fabulous auction and raffle prizes. The Third Annual Celebration of Excellence was a huge success. Through the generosity of the community, we we be able to continue to support on-going grants to the Waukesha Public Schools. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the event including all of our administration, teacher, student and parent volunteers.

Pictures From the Celebration of ExcellenceMore than 550 people attended and over 200 students volunteered for this, the third annual event. Students staffed the "Hall of Excellence" which celebrated school and student achievement, they served food, and members of the Horning Middle School flute choir, the North High School Chamber Singers and the Northstar marching band all provided musical entertainment.
Heidi Laabs, recently retired Director of Curriculum and Instruction was honored with the "Community Partner in Education Award" for her many years of service and contributions to the School District. Jill & Gary Beres of Culver's of Waukesha were honored with the "Corporate Partners in Education Award" for their many contributions to kids and schools in Waukesha.

The North High School Fieldhouse was transformed into a stunning banquet room for the dinner and silent auction. The theme for the night was "Students Today, Stars Tomorrow".
Student volunteers, including these raffle ticket sellers, donated their time and energy to the evening.
The "Hall of Excellence" featured a wide range of school and student projects that demonstrated creativity, innovation and excellence in the Waukesha schools.
Jill & Gary Beres of Culver's of Waukesha were awarded the Foundation's "Corporate Partners in Education Award".
